Hi guys, I picked this up a few weeks ago from a friend, who recently purchased another Teg, as this has been my dream car and he wasn't allowed 4 Honda's at home anymore. lol.

It is a fantastic little motor, and a big upgrade from a Saxo VTS. It handles like it's on rails and while the ride is low it is very comfy with the coilies that come with it. I was so so pleased with the condition of the bolsters too lol Like new! I like the fact that it looks very standard and has no bling bolted on to it anywhere because these motors are just amazing just the way they are! I hope to get to a Trackday or two over the next year (depending on job situation), as I have no doubt that my '9 is itching for some track time :naughty:

Was this car of here before? Good choice with pre facelift also :nice: pics are mint are year recent? Any plans?

The pics were taken at our local Sunday evening cruise spot called Portstewart.

Aye the car has been on here briefly before. I thought I paid big enough money for it, but comparing to the prices of these on PH and in the for sale section mine seems like a good buy.

@ Dan, the pics are 9 days old my friend. I cant get over how fresh it is for a 97 pre-facelift, plans will be to raise it up a bit, strip down and re-underseal before the winter, square plates,

Would like to try a spoon pNp ecu or maybe a tune on Chrome or a Neo early next year.

The pics were taken off my mobile, but all being well I'll have a few proper ones in the coming weeks.
 
Sound like good plans mate car does look mega clean this car has been up forsale on ere hasnt it get some engine pics up bud :nice:

i be up there every 4th or 5th sunday for a run, that place never seems to cool with modded cars, are you for the cruise on sunday!?
 
Little Update..

I gave the EK9 a real good clean a couple of weeks ago in prep for the winter. I finished it off with a couple of coats of Collinite Wax just to leave it well sealed from the weather. I also did a bit of undersealing at the back where the previous waxoyl was sagging a little. After this I checked the floor and the boot floor to be pleasently surprised with how dry and clean it was.

I also entered the car in at a local show, only to be beaten by an incredible FN2 lol. Got a few pics to follow. Hopefully it will come off the road in the next week or two for my 405 dturbo to take over to get me through until easter!

Thanks Derek. Keep an eye out, I'll have more pics up soon including new some recently purchased SimAuto parts :) I have a feeling you will hear from me a right wee bit this year! lol.
