ok so i got my ek9 a year and 4months ago cause i always wanted one like most people on here, i did not know a massive amount about them so started to search the net to find out as much as i can, but nothing prepared me for how raw and fun the car was and handling is amazing.
how it stood when bought
anyway 1st thing i got was a full apexi exhaust system and a mugen 4-1 manifold as i liked the look of the exhaust and found info that suggested the mugen manifold was one of the best for the car.
also got some lca's fitted as i found the car a bit tail happy.
2nd year at japfest but 1st year with ek9 it looked like this, just got front and rear bumper resprayed as were some cracks on back bumper and front was just a mess with stone chips.
went on track =)
was a while till got any more bits got ebc standard discs and pads on rear and standard discs with ebc yellow stuff on front.
random car meet in cardiff
also my clutch went =( but a bad point turned into a good point and i decided to go for a racing clutch, few weeks later this happened =(
so got this only 3.5kg =)
then the main bit i wanted for ages =) got my meister r's which i waited ages but was well worth the wait, also got some adjustable camber arms front and back
also got myself some facelift rear lights
was running way to much camber for my liking as me and my m8 had no gear to measure the camber when we fitted them and also waas around 1 in morning when we finished so we really wanted to go to sleep lol
went and got camber sorted and looks so much better
after a clean
