Interior rear mirror

when my mate matt had his crash the mirror flew off and broke, we have sourced a second hand one. we need to know how the mirror is attached to the base plate that is screwed to the head lining. is it stuck or what?

If I recall correctly, you have to remove the little plastic cover with a screwdriver, and then just take the screws out.
