Mine was about $50 USD when i did bought them, but that was a long time ago... Also the OSRAM Nightbreakers are a little bit cheaper and just as bright if your on a budget...

You obviously didn't read any of it, it is listed multiple times throughout the thread.

After reading the review I installed some in my son's civic. I was very impressed indeed. great spread and range.

another complaint i had about the hid's is that i lost my high beam. i only had 1 beam and it was all over the place.

Excellent write up i agree, and the pictures sold me out completely.

I have 99 EM1, and using HID's atm, and as quite rightly pointed out by blinx9900, my light coverage is so far, that signs light up 1/4 mile away, and no matter how low i set the light adjustment, including with my lowered suspension, i'm still blinding oncomming traffic!

It's a shame that i didn't read this prior to my HID blowing a ballast after 1 year, the replacement cost of Phillips bulbs are relatively cheaper than HID replacements. I shall definatley consider purchasing Phillips X-Treme the time when my HID's blow out again.

Also consider the OSRAM Nightbreakers, they are just a tad brighter than teh phillips bulbs and a bit cheaper.

Had these on my car for 6 months now, I have the OEM look ones (not white like HID) and there great ! Noticable improvment on both beams.

Would recomend to anyone who wants brighter lights but either doen't want the white/blue look or cant justify £100 on HID's.

please don't compare crap coated bulbs to the phillips xtreme's those blue coated bulbs only reduce light output while the phillips actually increase light output and use quartz glass!!

not sure but that sounds about right, they are near OEM color just brighter, they still have a bit of yellow to them but not as much as OEM bulbs...
