What material is the OEM ITR 4-1 hedder?

I thought the jdm 98 spec one was SS but with a raw finish... I could totally be wrong though as i have never actually seen one with my own eyes...

as far as I know they are stainless steel with a raw finish like blinx says. I had one on mine before and they are too light to be mild steel

if ya wanna check if its stainless get a magnet and put it 2 it if doesnt stick ya got ss trick us welders use from time ta time.

steves advice is the best!

if it is then its probably T402 grade then I'd guess. Its rusts alot easier than the higher T304 grade

I know the greddy manifolds also ruse very fast, maybe they too are using a cheaper grade...

some stainless steel is magnetic depending on the carbon content.

i think the 98 spec manifold is stainless steel and the 96 is not

yes but its still a very weak pull youll be able to tell its not mild steel just compare it to something that is mild steel
