If you want to import it by yourself, You have to keep in mind that if you buy a 98 + (this year) you will need a model report, and you will have to buy one.

I don't live in the UK. But I've imported a lot of JDM cars to Guatemala.

My recommendations:

Check out the Gauge cluster mileage, all the numbers have to be perfectly align at all, for example if the car has 65,555 km, you will see the 5,555 numbers perfectly aligned. The number 6 might be slightly moved a little up or down, but it's normal. If you see that the numbers are moved all over, the mileage was altered. When you import a car from Japan, you receive a document in Japanese and In English, where you can see the last owner, and the car information, for example, 1595 cc engine, 2 doors, and mileage, you can ask for this just to be sure the mileage is not altered.

You can import your car from a lot of companies in Japan, I would not recommend IBC Japan, they're the worst car export company in Japan, their customer service sucks, I bought a car with them, I lost, 4 wheels, complete OEM exaust, and Ohlins suspension that where inside the car, because they send my car to Miami first then to Guatemala, the car was ment to be sent to Guatemala directly! So i don't recommend buying from them, I asked for my money back because I lost like 3000 $ in parts, and they told me that they're not responsible of that, that I should arrange this with the shipping company, in other words, they don't care how the car arrives, once you pay and the car is out of their ware house.

So mate STAY AWAY FROM IBC Japan.

I'll totally recommed Grahamberry 2, http://www.grahamberry2.co.jp excellent customer service, great cars and honest people.

We have 2 importers registered in the forum:

FastJapCars

http://www.ek9.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=26

and

Tegiwa Imports

http://www.ek9.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=28

Check out their stock, the're both respectable and honest companies, since you live in the UK, I would recommend having a look to their cars :nice:

Hope this helps dude.
