Re: Help Me Bring My Ek9 Back To Life

ammm my mods ..hmm the mods on the car ...car is stock except for an arc induction box with some dirty looking filters lollol. those are the mods and i will get a compression test this week. any more ideas guys ...yea i guess these cars are very nice for tracks ... but my ctr seems to have a lil messed up front problem... could be the tyres and alignment of the wheels. cause when i push the power thro the corners ..the car wheels dont go in the right direction ..it is as if i could run off the road ..lol ( i know it isnt funny).

Whats the tire pressure of all tires ? What type of tyres are you running? If you release the steering wheel on a straight line, does the car goes to the right or left? let us know this

Re: Help Me Bring My Ek9 Back To Life

Ok - i dont have an EK9 but you must be able to know yourself if you feel its fast!

What previous cars did you have?

GT - Turbo's and 4age are fast - But are they tuned??? and the only prelude that should come near you is the 2.2 dohc vtec and even then you should beat an untuned example.

what you have to find out is if these cars are standard? you will prob find they are not! and is yours?

If you feel there is a problem with your car then then get it checked out if your not experienced enough to sort yourself. Or get it on a dyno!!

Is the car engaging in VTEC ok?

Re: Help Me Bring My Ek9 Back To Life

ye it is engaging into vtec very well... i think the reason that is doesnt feel that fast is because it doesnt get to pull str8 with the fact that the tires are bad and it keeps pulling to a side ..the tire pressure for my tires is usually 30 but i will replace the tires the car came with ..with some 195/50-15 soon and get my rims aligned and see if i can actually stay in a str8 line when i stamp the gas. well the cars ..the prelude it is modded... the gt turbos are 1300 with 1500cc bottom end and upgraded turbo. so those cars are all modded. rvm i will get my tires changed and wheels aligned and tell u is it still happens ...and barry ...my car is stock except for an arc induction box..that needs its filters changing .i only now got the car ..jus sorting out things that the previous owner didnt do.
