the best throttle body!!

right as im lazy i dont want to hear "buy an itr one and machine it". i just want to buy one in a box, and use it, ive been loooking at the spoon one but have heard rumours its a tad big???? bearing in mind i will be running a spoon ecu in a couple of months i still feel this is the best one to get, although if you tell me there is better then i will go with that

I don't know if Spoon TB is big but what I know is that its double(or more) the price of Skunk2. In general, Spoon products are insanely expensive! I'm happy with the Skunk2(68mm), in case you wanna buy it, I felt the engine breathing much better as soon as I replaced the stock one with it

there is no best TB, but for what its worth we use accufab throttle bodies with an adapter plate on all our race cars... but yeah like manos said spoon is a rip off, you can get skunk2/bbk/bdl/edelbrock/aebs for a lot cheaper.

ive just contacted my local EK9 parts supplier and have been told that....Skunk 2 requires rather more work to fit than spoon rtc and it isnt tapered like the spoon, he has said that for £170 they machine it exactly the same as spoon if i send him the standard TB, anyone got one for sale????

thats a little bit too expensive to just bore out a TB. find a cheaper machine shop.
