How to replace alternator

I have an EG5 Civic, alternator is very difficult to reach. It's more or less a bit under the intake manifold. What did you guys remove to get your old alternator out and your new one in?

Re: How to replace alternator

Much easier to get to this from under the car. Takes about 15mins to do. LHD or RHD no problems.

Re: How to replace alternator

I'd rather unscrew 2 bolts from the mbc than having to take apart half my suspension on one side I can't just get out my alternator without leaving the rest of the car alone.
