Hi all.
I am looking for information about supercharging a b16b engine. I have done limited research at the moment, mainly searching the archives on some forums.
What i would like to know is;
1. What types of superchargers are available for 16b/18c and which work well
2. What sort of supporting mods/ancilliaries are reccomended to increase engine lifespan and reliability.
3. What type of camshafts would work well with an entry level SC.

I understand that the b-series Honda engines were designed for N/A aplications, but some people have attempted to supercharge them....I would like to hear of these experiences and in particular what problems were encountered and if they were overcome.
What i would invisage initially is a low power gain....(maybe 250hp at the crank or so on very low boost). Power can be worked on at a later stage but reliability would be the highest importance from the outset, so getting it up and running with smallish gains would be a milestone in itself.

To SC a b-series i think that the following parts would be reccomended as a minimum:
Low compression pistons (inc. thicker head gasket)
Uprated fuel pump
Adjustable FPR
Larger injectors
Wideband o2
Suitable ECU
Good flowing exhaust and intake
Thermal intake gasket

Opinions and expansion on the points above would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Its time to get my car BAR'ed but I have one small problem. I have one CEL error, Code 91 for the Fuel Pressure Sensor. But I am getting ahead of myself.

I have a 96 Dx with a B18C Type R engine. Now in order to take my car to the referee I have to swap out my JDM ECU with a USDM ECU from an Integra Type R. Only problem, because I have an 96 Dx the Fuel Pressure Sensor is reading the wrong voltage for the USDM Integra Type R ECU.

Now there are a couple of ways to fix this:

1. Swap out the gas tank with any Integra.
2. Hook a potentiometer or resistor up to the ECU to trick the CEL to read the correct voltage.

I wanted to go step to, but no one I know has the instructions on how to correctly wire up the ECU.

I really need it BAR'ed as soon as possible. I have an out of town license plate and the registration has expired. And I really need to register the car in the good state of California.

Can anyone help

If I blip the throttle it's fine and settles into the normal idle state.
Am wondering If I need clean one of the valves or something... lol

Hey guys whats up I have a small issue. I bought two hatchbacks, one was the EK9 and the other was a CX with a D16 non Vtec. I converted everything from the EK9 to the CX hatch that way I can bring it back to the states with me when I leave. Anyways when I tried to hook up the engine harness from the EK9 it didn't reach because the harness wasn't designed for the LHD. I thought about extending it but I didn't want to cut into the existing wires so I looked on many forums and found a way to use the D16 harness but it requires me moving and adding pins. My question is does anyone know where I can buy a harness that is fabricated to fit my exact application. Any help would be great.
