Re: please help!! engine conversion
Can you post a photo of the box in the boot?
With loom ecu you refer to complete engine wiring harness ? I think you shouldn't have any issues at all, what ecu are you going to use? I assume the same one from the EG9 ?

Re: please help!! engine conversion
Was the coupe a non-vtec engine before? If it was then your Eg9 loom will have to be modified as its a two part loom on those with a seperate loom going to the firewall mounted MAP sensor and EVAP solenoid. If it was a vtec coupe and you have the loom my advice would be to use that rather than your eg9 one

Re: please help!! engine conversion
Your stock loom in the coupe will need to be used as the car is obd2a. The eg loom will be obd1. You'll have to add wires to the Coupe loom as said above. Then get an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness to use the ecu from the eg. Wires you have to add are vtec pressure switch. Vtec solinoid, Repin the iacv at the ecu end of the loom. Put a 2 pin plug on the iacv at the other end. Move your O2 sensor to the back of the engine. All this is easy to do when the motor is out of the car. Hope this helps. I think I covered everything but if not I am sure some one will point it out. LOL
