B16B piston (PCT) in B16A block

hi,
plan to swap my B16A with B16B piston...what things to do to get the right setup? do i need to change the conrod also in order to get the proper deck clearance as of factory build coz if i'm not mistaken B16A block is diff from B16B.

any reply is appreciated.

measure the cylinder wall to find out whether or not you need an oversize piston or not.

get a ring filer.

rods can stay the same.

No, the rods aren't the same. You could shave off 1mm for each top rods side

You're right, but he asked whether or not he needed to change the rods - which he doesn't. I neglected to state what you did though...

Some opt to cut the piston, but depends on your machine shop I guess.
