tried googling this and cant seem to find a definate answer.

does anyone know the vtec point and rev limit for a obd1 p30 b16a sir ?

i had a vafc on my eg9 which was mapped a good while ago and as far as i can remember the mapper said the vtec point was left as standard. when this was in vtec was coming in at 5800.

recently it was acting up so i removed it.

now vtec is coming in at 6200 and is hitting the limiter at 8700, car is running fine but it just seemed a bit high to be coming in at 6200 ?

i checked the mfactory gear calculator and with my tyre size and gearing the car is at the correct speed at 120km/ph so my clocks must be fine

anyone know is 6200 correct for a p30 ?

seen that alright but doesnt give a rev limit and only lists 91-93 eg9.?

if it is 5500, what could be making it kick in at 6200 in mine ?

it says redline 8200rpm i assume that's the rev limit i also think if your car has a b16a sir 2
and a p30 ecu the year are model shouldn't matter
and for the funny vtec kick in it might be low on oil not sure about that it normally just stops working with low oil other than that i don't know

are you taking them reading from your cluster if so it could be just down to inaccurate clocks ?
