I just done an engine swap uk B18c6 for JDM B18c, i've a few loose ends I need help with.
Both Pellums have P73 stamp.
The car starts with extra throttle but idle is not good. To be fair not all the oil was drain when I rotated it to do the sump the rag in the trottel body was soaked, so im guessing some sensors are coverd but that might only be part the problem.
I have cleaned the ivac small improvement.
1. The valve on the strut bar connects to the vacuum barb with the arrow what do they do? there is a huge vacuum being pulled through that barb! and if it is covered the engine stalls why?
2. What is this barb/vacuum? It is not on the UKDM but there is one like it on the back of the plenum.
3. This was fixed to the bulkhead and I think connected to a barb/vacuum on the back of the UKDM plenum what is it?
