Re: is this a B18c

Have a look for the engine code 'B18C' very close to the manifold on the left.

Should tell you exactly what engine it is.

correct, and if it is a b16b with a stroker kit the only way you will now if it is a B18C is by open up the motor and measure it or take it to a dyno, if it has between 120 lb/ft of torque + it is a B18C

My judgment seeing the intake quick is, that it is a oem intake without the box and a after market filter.

Re: is this a B18c

that intake manifold is b18, correct, but i believe its the type found on b18c1's and c4's which is like a civic vti 4 door or integra sir etc, never seen a itr with that inlet manifold,
if it is this engine then its a down grade in power over the b16b.
uk b18 c4 is approx 174 bhp.

if engine code is b18 c its jdm itr dc2 if its b18 c6 its itr dc2 uk model which are all good

TypeR Re: is this a B18c

I cant say much for the block ...

But the head on that engine is that of the B18c engine found in the 96-00
Honda Integra SIR found in japan
Acura Integra GSR found in the us

Just above the Exhaust manifold you should see a printed section marked P72

Wildcat speaks the truth.

USDM P72 = 170bhp lower compression
JDM P72 = 180ps higher compression
