anybody know's what is the right valve clearance for a stock b18c-r? a friend told me that intake should be "9" in the intake and "10" in the exhaust in the feeler gauge. is this correct? and what does "9" & "10" stands for? thanks..

Google has all the answers...

B18C
INTAKE: 0.006" - 0.007" (0.15mm - 0.19mm)
EXHAUST: 0.007" - 0.008" (0.17mm - 0.21mm)

0.006 for example is referring to 6 THOUSANDTH of an inch, or 0.15mm, dependent on whether you have imperial or metric feeler gauges.. Oh and make sure to do it on a cold engine.

stop being a lazy cnut and use google :) i've given you the information you require, do you want me to WIPE your arse as well?

i asked because i can't find anything that confirms that b18c1 (gsr) and b18c type-r is using the same clearance.

B18C
INTAKE: 0.006" - 0.007" (0.15mm - 0.19mm)
EXHAUST: 0.007" - 0.008" (0.17mm - 0.21mm)

The b18c type-r is using dual valve springs and the gsr is not. so are you sure that they are using the same valve clearance?

Can anyone please confirm this?

all b series vtec have the same clearances

I used google to confirm this, what are you using?
I also have helms at my side, what do you use?
