me??i put a k20 into an ek for a friend...i only put in the engine ehaust an runnin gear tho he did everythin else gear cables loom an stuff like that

I believe it was Olly ek9 that done the swap he also done a K20 swap on a integra

If you need advice about this swap I could probably help you out I have done alot of research on this swap.

its no harder that fittin any other engine once uv the rite parts u use custom driveshafts an engine mounts my m8 got all his stuff to fit from ha sport

Its defently more time consuming to fit a K20 than any other B series or D series motor and with the K20 clearance is a issue with everything from the exhaust to the radiator everything has to be modified or moved including the shifter box. You even have to cut the skeleton of the bonnet on a EK to run a P/S pump to get enough room for it.

its time consumin alrite but wen u get used to takin engines in an out alot u get faster an it becomes easir...like all i did on the ek was put the engine an box in put the drive shafts an exhuast in the guy that owned the car did the wirin the gear cables an pretty much finished it up...but its by no means hard

Did he change the subframe to that of a EG or DC2? as from what I have heard those using EKK2 mounts designed to work with EK subframe found the handling effected badly as the engine is positioned to far forward putting all the weight past the front wheels making the car really unbalanced.

yep we have done one into an integra dc2, just waiting on the hondata kpro to turn up so we can tune it,,

not too bad of a conversion but its hard to beleive how much money it costs once all teh parts start mounting up, £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

think so far we are 7.5k on parts including buying teh engine and box,,

cheaper to buy a DC5 in the long run

no he used the ek subframe its a tight squeeze wit it but there is enuf room...made puttin the exhaust mani on a pain tho
