b18c an b18c6 any differences


nope, internally the same

only difference i can think of is the c6 exhaust side of the head using studs to secure the manifold where the imports use a mostly bolts and only 2 studs :p
 
i waz thinking da my self but is the jdm engine more to buy than the uk? an do u no any around need 1?
 
jdm engines cost more cause they have jdm scene tax attached

jdm = better, too many people are fooled by this :lol:
 
Depends, a 98 spec jdm engine has better cams.. slightly, think their very similar to ek9 cams?
 
same as ek9 cams, 3 deg extra duration on the intake cam

really makes **** all difference

Probably to meet some sort of emmissions law / requirement. The engine still produced the same amount of power on paper as some previous years B18C's.

As far as i'm aware it was only the year 2000 B18c's that had the EK9 cams not all 98 Spec Tegs.
