ek9 engine conversion

hi there lads i have just completed an engine conversion on my ek9..the car was originally a 97' civic type r and now have replaced engine with a 98' integra engine...put the civic loom on the engine because of the way the ecu is but dont seem to be getting a fuel pump..so i wired the fuel pump to a switch and cranked it over but its not sparking??

has anyone experienced this problem before??

Re: ek9 engine conversion

Well I know the Integra ECM after a certain year came out with an immobilizer system that needs to detect the chip within the key as a theft deterrent. However it can be disabled. This might be shitting the stick with your swap. I hope this helps any.

Re: ek9 engine conversion

Try your EK9 ecu and see if your getting the same problem. If you are swap out the dizzy for your ek9 one. It could be the ICM in the dizzy thats bad so thats why your not getting spark.

Re: ek9 engine conversion

Was the engine/ECU from a UK car? If so, then the ECU is noo good as its coded to the key.

You need a JDM DC2 ECU.
