Can a Broken pcv valve burn oil??


Yes, if your PCV valve is broken you will end up getting oil in the intake tract which will lead to the combustion chamber leading to blue smoke out the tail pipe. On top of that oil reduces the octane rating of the fuel so it can also lead to more serious problems. With that said PCV valves are VERY cheap, if your in doubt CHANGE IT :nice:
 
defo one on the list on pay day as i have had new rings, stem seals and everything done so its the only thing that it can really be i am 99.5% thats the cause becase it is only under mega death it does it but sensible driving its perfect
 
where is the pcv valve located on the engine ????????????????
 
They are about £30 new from Honda, i replaced mine recently when servicing the car for peace of mind

Good way to test it is ro remove it and shake the valve, should hear a small ball bearing tyre valve inside rattling, if you cannot hear this then it will need cleaned/replaced :)
 
niceo ne been to honda and got replacement for mine still to fit it as i am working alot of hours
