think its about time i put up a build thread on my euro R, bought it about a year ago in standard unmolested form,...and intended leaving it alone as a nice daily driver, but that took a bit of a twist and ended up with a turbo

that all went well for a few months until i spied a set of wheels i liked, but then it looked silly up high so i decided to lower it and that was comfort out the window,

but then this happened, a bit of experimenting with a bee-r ignition cut rev limiter resulted in a broken piston chewing up my liner,

so it was into the shed and time to get building

but rather than just replace with another standard engine i figured this was a good excuse to go down the turbo route,

closed deck early spec h22a was sourced, along with a fairly large turbonetics turbo,

it has now been tucked away beside the ek9 for the winter, before it comes out again in the spring it will have a new clutch ajustable cam gears, and a new map, all going to plan

Not seen a turbo build on a euro r before !

Neither have I that's what inspired me to do it, but it's fairly straightforward as they are almost identical to a prelude and there is loads of them in the us running turbos so parts arnt too difficult to get,

As for all the guys wanting power figures il have to diss appoint you, it hasn't been on rollers yet, so is limited to half a bar of boost, want to fit a new clutch and a few bits before upping the power, should make 300+ ;)

Nice to see a turbo'd euro r. Looks good mate & best of luck with it. Are they 17 inch spoon wheels ??

Very nice car and adding a turbo just makes it so much better :nice:

Ha ha excellent, we just can't help ourselves but tinker!

Love it!

You just dont see enough of these cars on the road and they are pretty epic looking

The wheel's made the euro r more aggressive looking!! Nice car!!

Savage any more pics of this?

Where did you get the turbo kit if you don't mind me asking?
