Hi guys, currently I am doing 5 stud conversion to my 96 Civic ek. However, it is so hard to source the proper EK9 and DC2R 5 stud conversion in Australia. It almost impossible mission!!

So, what I done is - using 96 CRV front knuckles, 282 rotor and caliper. They are pretty identical to the EK. it just had thicker knuckles on CRV as it is heavier and need to be more thicker.
This is good as it can handle more power:).

But, the problems is, I don't had 5 stud for the rear.
Anyone know if there is any alternative to change the 5 stud for the rear?

The guy sell me the CRV front knuckles told me the CRV rear trailing arm might fit. the only problems is it had the hole for the axle as CRV are 4wd.

Thanks

Well if your civic has dish in the rear, then i would buy only the 5 lug hub and bearing from japan and have it shipped to you, then you only need little nick nacks.

But if you have drums.........i dont know.

really? Tats cool. I got the rear disk :p
but i heard someone saying you need the trailing arm and so on (i think thats for the drum setup)
Splat, could you pm me how much it roughly cost if doing ur way?

Act, I got a full set 5 stud came off the DC5 when i wreck the car.
Do you think i can use the hub and bearing or EK9 is the only way??

Cheers guys for input

not sure on dc5 but you shouldnt HAVE to change the whole trailing arm, just the hub should be fine i would have thought

This is my current front setup using CRV front knuckle, rotor and calipers.
it had 36mm hub which similar to the jdm 98 spec ITR.

From the pic, when i put 17x7.5 wheel, the wheel is slightly coming out like half inch. Hopefully it is ok when on the ground without scratching.

I am using the 1" MC and brake booster out of EK9.
the prop is stock. but i think they are 4040. so should be alright.

The driveshaft on right hand side seems slightly shorter.
The right lowest ball joint is broken and the power steering boot is broken. So I need to replace them. thats y they still off the ground :p.

The only thing that left over is rear 5 lugs!!!!!!!!!!!
Any alternative????
Cheers.

Maybe a honda prelude one?? :((

So RVM, you recon the prelude rear will fit?
Cos tico_ek9 mention that as well?

Can I use the hub only? cos i got the rotor, and caliper out of USDM DC5S.
Any confirmation?

Cheers guys

You know what, The coilover of driver side should be 5-10mm taller than the passenger side. Cos you are sitting on the driver side and it balance the height of the car when you drive.
But I mistakenly placing the shorter coilover on the driver side and taller on the Passenger side!!!

AHHHH!! gonna change them tomorrow.
