TypeR Stainless Brake Lines

Well, I want to buy a set for my car, but I have no idea what brake lines will fit for my car, since the ek9 didn't came to america, I want to know if I can use USDM Integra Type R brake lines ?? or Standard EJ6 96-00 Brake lines ?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

integra lines are really LONG in my experience, i used EM1 brake lines, my car does not have ek9 brakes though, i have integra brakes front and rear which is the same as teh em1. DONT buy ej6 brake lines cause those had drums in the rear. if you can measure your brake lines front and rear, tell me what length they are and ill contact earls's and see what they have

A friend of mine got braided brake lines from here for his EP3 and they are great, don't know about the application the EK but give them a call.

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

i HATE goodridge!! i snapped one of there lines!! lucky i was only doing a test pass and i was on my own street with no cars near by! i only use EARLS now, its a little more expensive but its the best! its the same brake line that comes with the grex/alcon brake kit. and there is a spring at the top of the line to keep it straight.

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

EM1 brake lines should fit just fine ( usdm 99-00 si)
I have techna-fit, its great quality. But so is earls from what I've heard.

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

If you want to measure you're stock lines with a ruler and a piece of string, I'll measure the techna-fit ones and we'll see if they are the same lenth.
I'm guessing the techna-fit's are going to be a tiny bit longer than stock.

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

use a piece of string, mark the sting for where the line starts and ends, then measure the string or use a tailors tape measure

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

hmmm those do NOT look like my em1 lines, the fittings seem to be a bit more angled.

Re: Stainless Brake Lines

ive been running goodridge for couple years and very happy with them, they didnt list ek4 fitment when i bought mine so phoned goodridge who said some crx listed fitment was same, there about 3-4 inches longer than stock and had 1 additional bracket which was just cut of

if they still dont list ek4 fitment id probably look for 1 of the companies mentioned above who do perfect match to oem ek4/ek9 hoses
