Throttle body

ok, here is my problem, everything is running ok, but when i give it gas and the throttle opens i hear a whistleling sound coming fron it, i beleive is coming from the intake or the body, but i cant pin point it, does any one know what it could be making the whistle sound?

Re: Throttle body

first of all id say pop the bonnet and rev the engine using the throttle cable etc. and have a good listen to see if you can pin point to the intake pipe or anything like that.

have you got a standard air box setup??
as i have some slight whistle on mine since installing the spoon carbon pipe

Re: Throttle body

I had the same "whistling issue" the problem was with the factory O RING, the car also was throwing white smoke !! We forgot to put it back after changing from a b16b throttle body to a b18c one.

attaching photos:

This little ring was the cause of the problem

I also used the same one when I changed to my Spoon throttle body last week. It peeled off the old t/b easy enough
