Exhaust heat shield ?

Just wondering is it ok to remove the exhaust heat shield underneath te car ?

I had to take off my Catback recently and since iv put it back on its Ben rattling really bad when driving .

Should I remove the heat shields or would I be better off gettin some heat wrap and wrap part of the exhaust ?

All my civics I have had have no heat shields underneath the exhaust, just remove it

I would wrap it by the gear linkages as a precaution.

^i dont have any heat wrap il have to buy some so was wondering can i just remove the heatshield thats causing the rattle or should i buy some heatwrap and wrap the exhaust ??

Ive had loads of cars with no heatshields, never had a problem. Just pull them off

even with a heat shield on it would be the same as without? seeing as the shield sits above the exhaust
