iit dosnt matter weather it has AC or not!

The AC unit is on the same side as the RHD versions therefore it will fit.

I think the A/c lines run with the offside chassis leg ( airbox side )on a LHD hence his question

Re: Mugen intake on ek4 with air con

Like Darragh said the a/c lines run on airbox side on LHD, i know my car.

Must make custom lines or remove a/c to install mugen airbox

Re: Mugen intake on ek4 with air con

could you post a picture of the ac line? The only thing i could really see getting in the way is the pump and pulleys but they have to be on the LHS of the car, so there is a chance you could work around the AC lines?

Re: Mugen intake on ek4 with air con

er maybe not then. The mugen intake attaches to the chassis rail with two bolts right where all those lines are. and it would definitely be catching on the pipe that bends upwards before going back to the firewall, plus your catch can is in the way!

Re: Mugen intake on ek4 with air con

Thanks elchunk...

as i have Mugen intake at home i will install them to test and i will remove this two a/c lines, and move catch for another place.

If i really see gains on power over dc2 unit i will stay without a/c working or i will do some custom lines for a/c.

For people that have LHD EK with a/c take this note for Mugen/Tegiwa intake

The gen2 mugen intakes might be better for you, im not sure how they secure to the car but they would definitely give you more room.
