Re: Spoon N1 Sicking out.

I just measured my Spoon N1 tip and its approx 96mm.. That is when the car is cold now.. Going by the picture it seems yours is back closer to the bumper.. Does the backbox look modified in any way?

Re: Spoon N1 Sicking out.

It's the tailpipe itself being different lengths, nothing to do with the mid sections

My N1 I bought brand new a year and a half ago perhaps, sits perfect just flush with the lip

Other ones like yours pictured that poke out past the lip have a longer tailpipe, as in the distance from the can to the end of the tip

My eaxhaust can't physically sit further out as the can part is almost contacting the lip on the inside

Just older/newer revised designs tbh, nothing to do with decats and stuff, i've seen some that sit squint with adjustable decats but as I said if you have one with a shorter tailpipe like mine then they CANNOT physically stick further out as they contact the lip on the inside

Due to heat expansion if it gets a roasting the tailpipe pokes out an extra 10mm, but thats all, have a lovely melted part on the inside of the lip as a result

Re: Spoon N1 Sicking out.

Thanks for the answers guys looks like its solved.

Just measured my exhaust and the distance from my can to the end of the tip is about 110mm so that confirms what stevenEK9 has said.

Thanks for your measurement JDM 3383.

Rep to you all for helping.
