Skunk 2 Mega Power

Hey was just wondering what the general thoughts on the skunk 2 mega power are? I recently bought an EK3 civic and saw a used skunk 2 cat back system done 3000 miles. Is there anything bad about them or are they generally good systems?

havent been on the honda scene to long but i no skunk 2 is a quite a good brand name so id say it would be fine prob pretty loud tho hope that helps

they're good items not the best for my opinion loud
i would prefer buddy club pro spec as they are cheaper !

i have a pro spec and love it the skunk2 is very loud a freind of mine had one on his del sol and i completly dround mine out lol

buddy club pro sec is the one

skunk2 mega power system is ace! I had one on my old ek3, which a guy marc butlerus on this forum now has! great piece of kit but as said, EXTREMELY LOUD!! I matched it up with a 4 branch and de-cat and it was insane!

Thanks for all the comments really useful. I spoke to a guy at tokyo express store and asked about this skunk 2 system and basically he said. The problem with these exhausts is that as they are desgned for the market in California- where weather is warm all year round, he said in the UK many people have found that due to the machine welding which is relatively thin, in the cold winters the expanding and contracting metal can cause stress fractures?

has anyone experienced this before or heard of it happening?

They look and fit great, they are a bit aggressive on the noise, lets be honest here, there loud as hell!
